Worship

At Monaghan Elim we love to join together in praise and worship to our God, not only because scripture commands us to, but because of our love for Him and thankfulness for all that He has done for us!

We have a dedicated team of people varying in age, gender and musical abilities and because of their love for music and most of all Jesus they have united together as a team to lead us in worship.

The musical abilities within the church are growing and the team now consists of drummers, guitarists, pianists, and vocalists!   They meet together before each of the services to practice and learn new songs.

Our service commences with a time of praise and worship which involves lively communal singing with a mixture of traditional hymns and modern worship songs.

As a result of the team’s love for Christ and the overwhelming joy that they have found in Him they have a real heart for authentic worship and to lead people into a time of thanksgiving and praise. They realise that they cannot connect others to Christ unless they are connected first themselves!

‘I personally have been blessed by the worship each Sunday. I find it a time where I can get lost in God’s presence and experience His nearness. I have found that not only is it a time where we can really praise God for all He has done; it has also been a healing time for me during difficult times. I have found that many of the song lyrics have been a great comfort to me at that time.’
