Children's Ministry

Welcome to our kids ministry

At Monaghan Elim we are passionate about children and want them to be as much part of church as adults. We want children to know God’s love and to have a relationship with Him while they are still young and to grow up learning about Him and how to worship Him.

Creche
Creche

The crèche is a safe and fun space for your little ones from babies to 3-4 years (age to go to Sunday school) to play and make new friends.
We have a team of dedicated volunteers who are there from 10:45am each Sunday for the duration of Church.

It runs each Sunday morning in our main church hall giving the kids plenty of space to run about enjoy the toys and burn of some energy while you can relax and enjoy the morning service.

Children's Church

Childrens church is available throughout the months of June/July/August for children aged 7 and under. It runs from 11.20am to 12.30pm during our Sunday morning service. It is an opportunity for the children to learn more about God, to engage in fun activities and develop new friendships.

Sunday School
Sunday School

Our Sunday School is for children aged 3 ½ years up to 6th class primary school and meets every Sunday (Sept to May) from 11.20am to 12.30pm in our church building during our Sunday morning service. We have a great team of teachers and helpers, all on a rotational basis. All of our team are Garda-vetted. We use both the GoTeach and CEF curriculums to teach the children about salvation and learn the many treasure of the Bible.

Our hope is that the children will develop and grow in a personal relationship with Jesus and make Him known. We aim to facilitate this through lessons from God’s Word, prayer , worship, memory verses, sword drills, quizzes and many other activities. We also love that Sunday School is a place to make new friendships and develop existing ones.
