There is a misconception that Church is just for old people but the reality is that it is for everyone of all ages. Crossroads is the youth ministry of Monaghan Elim Church with the aim to see young people grow in their understanding of God and their role as Christians in the world today.
Crossroads meets every Friday night during the school year at 8:30pm in the new Crossroads Youth Complex in church, Ballybay Road, Monaghan and is geared towards teenagers and the early twenties.
At Crossroads we see on average 50 young people from different backgrounds and at different stages in life, a typical night would involve a time of praise and worship, testimonies and a message from God’s word. We have a passionate young leadership team who are always there for a chat or a word of encouragement. There is always time of course to chill out and catch up with friends in the Crossroads chill out area and cafe afterwards.
At Crossroads our aim is to be a dynamic youth group who have a passion for a God who is real and at work in our world today. Our vision in Crossroads is to see a generation stand out from the crowd through worship, growth and evangelism.
We’re excited about what God is doing through Crossroads and the growth that we are seeing in the young people of Monaghan and the surrounding towns.
Crossroads is not just for the youth of Monaghan Elim but serves Monaghan town and the surrounding areas, so no matter what your background is we would love to see you in Crossroads. Its a very informal atmosphere with time to chill out with friends afterwards over a cup of tea or a game of pool. We would love to have you join us!!
